Lab in action

The last few months have seen such a diversity of action at Arts Lab, we’ve brought images of events and workshops together under one heading on the website. On the Gallery pages of the site, Lab in action is a photographic journal of our goings on, with contributions from Klara Ferm (our intern photographer) and Anna Donaldson (newly appointed social media intern).

Lab in colour

As well as action in abundance, colour as a positive force has made its way into almost everything we do. Go to the Drawing, Painting and Collage page of the Gallery to see the full spread. Below are just a few examples.

Workshop training

We have now completed a successful three-stage training programme for community builders and arts facilitators for the Torbay Community Development Trust. Below are images taken at the third and final session: “ideas, build and practice” – sharing, testing, collating new ideas and methods for arts workshops.

Here is yet another fabulous film by A level student and Arts Lab film intern, Tansy West (click here to see) … this time capturing some art workshop training for the Torbay community builders. To see more films by Tansy, go to Films  in the Arts Lab Gallery.

Jonathan McCree’s workshop is this Saturday – ‘Do be do be do, the touching eye’. To book, go to the Dartington website.
