Annually, the local secondary school King Edward VI Community College, visits Arts Lab with up to 30 students. Our artist-educators provide opportunities to learn outside the classroom in non-prescriptive, expressive ways, building their visual language. Less about results, more instilling a sense of self-discipline and making the students think, amazing things have happened. Much of the artwork is exhibited at the school and in local galleries.
‘I would highly recommend any sessions run at Arts Lab. With a unique delivery style, students are encouraged to experiment and express themselves. The studio at Dartington feels like another world which helps students remember educational experiences in a positive light.’
