Artwork created by adult participants with little-to-no background or training in visual art, during workshops lead by Sara. This is one of four exhibitions in the series The Artist in Everyone, the other three being Games with Upcycling, Observing the Small Things, and Candlesticks & Jugs. Photographs of the work were taken by Sara with the kind permission of the artists.

Mirroring Sara’s own technique of picture-making, workshop participants enjoyed freely and playfully exploring the effects of mixed media collage. Paper types ranged from discarded envelopes, wallpaper, maps and old paintings to coloured acetate and thick, white cartridge paper. Many of the larger pieces were created collaboratively in pairs or small groups. What emerged were some startling abstract compositions in colour and form.
