Artwork created by workshop participants (that could be you)
Artwork created by adult participants with little-to-no background or training in visual art, during workshops lead by Sara. This is one of four exhibitions in the series The Artist in Everyone, the other three being Experiments in Colour and Form, Observing the Small Things, and Candlesticks & Jugs. Photographs of the work were taken by Sara with the kind permission of the artists.
3D cardboard contructions or ‘inventions’ and 2D pictures were created by workshop participants collaboratively in pairs. (My 3 children at the time consumed a lot of breakfast cereal, not just for breakfast! Incomplete decks of cards were also used, reminiscent of childhood games building towers).
The picture-making arrangements of plastic objects – again created collaboratively – was a novel way of making use of all those bits and pieces collected over the years at home from broken toys and random household items.
