The Rural Centre for Visual Art and Peace in the North Pennines, Northumberland, UK opens soon, or by appointment.
For day visits or residentials, it brings together under one roof:
- Art studio for creative ‘messy’ practice for up to 8 participants at any one time.
- Library of books associated with visual art and peacebuilding.
- Permanent display of original artwork by Arts Lab’s founder, SaraDownham-Lotto.
- Quarterly exhibitions by invited artists whose work aligns with the Arts Lab ethos.
- Comfortable sitting, studying, discussion and dining spaces inside and outside for up to 15.
- Spacious kitchen for shared cooking and eating for up to 15.
- Overnight accommodation for up to 6 people.
