Relaxed, playful art-making workshops for adults who want to explore, experiment, and surprise themselves.
Relaxed, playful art-making workshops for adults who want to explore, experiment, and surprise themselves.

These workshops are for anyone who’s curious about making art — whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush, used to love art and miss it, or just feel like trying something new. No pressure, no perfection, and definitely no “right way” to do things.
We make art together, we experiment, we get a bit messy, and we build creative confidence along the way. Come on your own or with others — these workshops are for individuals and groups of all shapes and sizes.
Sessions are playful and exploratory, with time to slow down, try unfamiliar materials, and see what happens.
Sara facilitates hands-on experiments with paint, collage, drawing, printing, and 3D constructions from her studio in rural Northumberland — or brings the workshop to you, wherever you are. Her approach mixes collaborative making with gentle prompts, references to contemporary art, art history, music, and the surrounding landscape — all in service of (re)awakening the artist in everyone.
“I really enjoy the freedom of the space to work in and the chance to experiment. Emboldened by the sessions, I love working on the edge of my comfort zone. Art is amazing!”
“I’m loving learning new techniques and different ways of working – individually, in pairs or altogether. The studio space is great – a good size and it’s fun to work on a bigger scale than I would normally be able to.”
