Matt O’Halloran , 28, is a second year part time M.A. Illustration student at Plymouth College of Art, aiming to pursue a career in illustration and education. Matt joined the Young Artist Sharing the Light team in the summer of 2020 and has since become Arts Lab’s student representative for Devon, as well as creating work for one of our first online exhibitions, ‘The Lucifer Effect’. The story of Good and Evil. In this digital collage illustration, Matt took inspiration from the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding, which explored the concept of moral evil within the human condition. Matt combines collage and drawing techniques to build imagery that tackles a range of topics, most notably of late, perceptions of good and evil and the fine line between them.
