‘College isn’t for me’
Anna, 22, has been with Arts Lab since it started in 2016 both as a regular attendee of our workshops and as a young artist volunteer. Having successfully got into art college through the support of the Lab, she decided it wasn’t for her.
She demonstrated her growth in confidence and creative ability in her first solo exhibition at Dartington’s Green Table Cafe in summer 2018.
‘The sessions at Arts Lab are freeing and full of surprises. They have really boosted my confidence. Learning from experienced artists in a big studio has made me unafraid to try new things.’
