Making Mondays – Drawing & Painting

Weekly drawing and painting classes. For complete beginners, those who’ve had art in their lives and want more or anyone feeling adventurous to try something new …. free up your creativity with abstract artist Sara Downham-Lotto who guides you in playful explorations with mixed media.

Ever dreamt of making art in a spacious artist’s studio? Ever thought how fun it would be to work alongside a professional artist open to sharing new ways of seeing and making? Tap into your younger, playful self with Sara who’s been painting, teaching and exhibiting for over 35 years.

This is a great chance to meet people, enjoy building creative confidence and expand your horizons. Making Mondays is a weekly evening drawing, painting and collage workshops for beginners and more experienced creatives.

Working with a range of materials, you will be guided in creating beautiful, individual pieces of artwork to take home with you. As the course develops, we will focus on colour and composition, line and mark making, collage and layering, texture and surface pattern.

At the end of each course, you will be given the opportunity to sign up for your favourite piece to be printed and framed at reasonable cost.

2 hours 6.30 -8.30pm

Mondays – September 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th; October 7th, 14th
